Based on a "Coco" form, and ancient brazilian music style of african origins. The rythmic pattern sounds "broken" on purpose, not respecting the strict 2/4, very caribean rumba like, in order to fit the inspiration to the song's tittle.
Quebra-Côco means "coconut breaker", as the brazilian surfers community call the impact zone of breaking waves - wich is particularly strong at Quilombo Beach. The feel of this part speaks of freedom and nostalgia. The piece is inspired on feelings of my teenage years.
