Story behind the song
Strange story behind this....someone was talking
about Gwyneth Paltrow, but mis-pronounced the
name, by putting the accent on the last syllable--which suspiciously sounds like the word for "coat"
in several foreign languages.....needless to say
the idea of "coat lady" came up. But then I had
never(at that point)seen any of her films---so
what do I have to write about?....Then came up with the concept of "you don't know my music and
I don't know your films---but I would be honored
to write a song for your next film...". Last year I was supposed to go to Turkey, but cancelled due to respiratory problems. On the fourth day of vacation I felt up to singing, which was when I recorded the first take of the song. And yes, I missed the earthquake as it was the day after I recorded the song.

magazines/it would surely be an honor/if I were
asked to write.....the theme from the coat-check
lady's new film.....
